Cole Johnson
Cole was a four-year collegiate (2013-2017) player, playing at Indian River State College in Fort Pierce, FL his freshman year and joining Tallahassee Community College his sophomore season. Cole then earned a scholarship to Point Park University where he played middle-infield for the remainder of his college career and earned a Bachelor’s degree in Sports, Arts, and Entertainment Management.
While at Point Park, Cole worked as an intern for Under Armour Baseball Factory in their tournament, scouting and player development divisions until graduation. After undergrad, Cole became a graduate assistant for Point Park University’s Athletic Department, working with the school’s Sports Information Director and various head coaches while pursuing his MBA.
In 2021, Cole was hired as an assistant baseball coach for Seton LaSalle Catholic High School working with infielders and coaching first base. The team would end up achieving WPIAL runner-up and posting a record of 22-4. In 2022, Cole took over as head coach and posted a 15-2 record, going undefeated in conference play. While head coach at Seton LaSalle, Cole pursued and completed his master’s degree in Health and Physical Education to begin his teaching career and to continue coaching.
